Finished Quilt

Pinwheels and Postage Stamps

My Pinwheels and Postage Stamps quilt is great for a new baby girl.  This quilt was made in September 2013 and is currently for sale in my Etsy shop.

I made this quilt using this wonderful tutorial from Sew She Sews.  The directions are clear and easy to follow and it makes an adorable quilt!

I love scrappy quilts!  They are so fun to make and just look at.  I love all of the different fabrics used in this quilt.  To help tie it all together I used all floral fabrics.

I used a scrappy binding for this quilt.  Each of the floral fabrics used in the quilt were also used in the binding.  This was my first time doing a scrappy binding, and I LOVE it!!!

Another first for me while making this quilt was a label.  I was looking through Pinterest (as always) and saw these beautiful hand-made label.  I fell in love with it and knew I wanted to include this on my quilt.

Here is my very first quilt label.  I think it turned out okay considering I've never done any embroidering before.  It is definitely on my list of things to work on though.

What I love about the quilt label is that it shows when it was made and who made it.  This is a great way for people to always remember who put all of the time and work into the quilt they have.  I am sure I will be including these on all of my quilts from now on.

A quick shout-out to my wonderful husband for the beautiful pictures of my quilt!
